2017 Nissan Titan Heater Control Valve Location

The 2017 Nissan Titan has a heater control valve located in the engine compartment, on the left side of the engine bay. It is near the rear of the engine and is easily accessible once the hood is opened. The valve is connected to the heater core with two large hoses and is controlled by a thermostat. It helps regulate the flow of coolant through the heater core, providing the desired amount of heat to the interior of the vehicle.

In order to access the heater control valve, it is necessary to remove the air intake duct and the battery tray. Once these parts have been removed, the valve can be accessed by disconnecting the two hoses from the valve. It is important to properly seal the hoses before disconnecting them from the valve, to prevent any coolant from leaking out.

It is important to regularly inspect the heater control valve for any signs of wear and tear, as a faulty valve can cause the heater to not work properly. If the valve is found to be faulty, it should be replaced as soon as possible. Additionally, the hoses connected to the heater control valve should also be inspected for any signs of leakage or damage.
