I want to emphasize how nice and solid the coach is. There are some very minor areas with heavy surface rust and a few bubbles; and some rust in the sunroof panel. So, while not rust free, it's pretty close

This car was sold new in San Francisco and has always been a California car. Citroen North America had 100 SMs fitted with sunroofs by ASC (an interesting story in itself). So this is a rare and desirable feature on an already low production car.

As you can see one head is off. Previous owner reports that one cylinder liner is cracked. The engine has been open for some time.

I think it's a good basis for a restoration given the current, and rising values of SMs. I request that you email. I'll reply with my number, and you can call if you like. Out of DMV system. I have old registrations, these original license plates can stay with the car. I can provide a bill of sale. If you require a title, I will be happy to get one, at the buyers expense.
